At Hidden Hand Tattoo, we have a $120 minimum and our shop rate is $225 per hour. Specific artists' hourly rates may vary and some tattoos are charged by the piece. For specific quotes and estimates, you must speak with your artist directly.

Hidden Hand gladly accepts MasterCard, Visa and of course, cash. Please make sure to check with your artist for alternative forms of payment that they might be willing to accept (such as Venmo, Cash app, Paypal etc).

As we like to say: walk-ins are welcome; appointments are preferred. Often we can accommodate walk-in clients on the spot. If, however, you would like to get tattooed at a preferred time, an appointment is recommended. If you would like to have a custom tattoo designed by an artist, it is recommended that you set up a consultation first, and then book your appointment. We require deposits for appointments, so if you wish to book over the phone, a credit or debit card will be necessary. Deposits are non-refundable. The deposit will hold your appointment, and will come off the cost of your tattoo. We require 48 hours notice for cancellations and schedule changes.

If well cared-for, a tattoo will typically heal within 2 weeks.

Every artist has their own specific after-care instructions that they will give you when your tattoo is done. Generally speaking, if you keep your tattoo clean, leave it alone and don’t over-do it with the lotions, creams and ointments, it will heal just fine. When it reaches the itchy stage, apply minimal amounts of a water-based, fragrance and dye-free lotion. The big no-no’s are direct sunlight, soaking in water and picking. We do provide printed after care instructions with each appointment and upon request.

No. We have an ever-growing supply of flash and an extensive library of reference books. We also have a crew of creative and talented artists who will be happy to design a tattoo for you based on any images or ideas you may have.

Yes, we offer gift certificates in any amount. Gift certificates can be purchased at the shop or we will gladly mail them to you or your preferred recipient if you wish to purchase one over the phone.

Closest to the shop, you will find metered parking with 2 hour limits and aggressive ticketing enforcement, so mind your meter. Within a block or two you will also find 2 hour free parking on the street. Within 4 blocks there are several pay lots that offer all day options (0-10 hours) these range from $7 to $10. If you don't mind more of a walk there is free 24 hour street parking east of the 99 bridge on 35th and 36th streets.
